막17:11-19

예수께서 예루살렘으로 가시는 길에, 사마리아와 갈릴리 사이로 지나가시게 되었다. 예수께서 어떤 마을에 들어가시다가 나병환자 열 사람을 만나셨다. 그들은 멀찍이 멈추어 서서, 소리를 높여 말하였다. "예수 선생님, 우리를 불쌍히 여겨 주십시오." 예수께서는 보시고 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "가서, 제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보여라." 그런데 그들이 가는 동안에 몸이 깨끗해졌다. 그런데 그들 가운데 한 사람은 자기의 병이 나은 것을 보고, 큰 소리로 하나님께 영광을 돌리면서 되돌아와서, 예수의 발 앞에 엎드려 감사를 드렸다. 그런데 그는 사마리아 사람이었다. 그래서 예수께서 말씀하셨다. "열 사람이 깨끗해지지 않았느냐? 그런데 아홉 사람은 어디에 있느냐? 하나님께 영광을 돌리러 되돌아온 사람은, 이 이방 사람 한 명밖에 없느냐?" 그런 다음에 그에게 말씀하셨다. "일어나서 가거라. 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였다.“

On the way to Jerusalem Jesus* was going through the region between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered a village, ten lepers* approached him. Keeping their distance, they called out, saying, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’ When he saw them, he said to them, ‘Go and show yourselves to the priests.’ And as they went, they were made clean. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. He prostrated himself at Jesus’* feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus asked, ‘Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? Was none of them found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?’ Then he said to him, ‘Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well.’
