두 이야기(창22:14; 마10:40-42)

이런 일이 있었으므로, 아브라함이 그 곳 이름을 여호와이레라고 하였다. 오늘날까지도 사람들은 '주님의 산에서 준비될 것이다'는 말을 한다.

 14So Abraham called that place ‘The Lord will provide’;* as it is said to this day, ‘On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.’*(창22:14)

"너희를 맞아들이는 사람은 나를 맞아들이는 것이요, 나를 맞아들이는 사람은 나를 보내신 분을 맞아들이는 것이다. 예언자를 예언자로 맞아들이는 사람은, 예언자가 받을 상을 받을 것이요, 의인을 의인이라고 해서 맞아들이는 사람은, 의인이 받을 상을 받을 것이다. 내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 이 작은 사람들 가운데 하나에게, 내 제자라고 해서 냉수 한 그릇이라도 주는 사람은, 절대로 자기가 받을 상을 잃지 않을 것이다." 

40 ‘Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. 41Whoever welcomes a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward; and whoever welcomes a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive the reward of the righteous; 42and whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple—truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.’(마10:40-42)
