눅4:14-21

예수께서는 성령의 능력을 가득히 받고 갈릴래아로 돌아가셨다. 예수의 소문은 그 곳 모든 지방에 두루 퍼졌다. 예수께서는 여러 회당에서 가르치시며 모든 사람에게 칭찬을 받으셨다. 예수께서는 자기가 자라난 나자렛에 가셔서 안식일이 되자 늘 하시던 대로 회당에 들어가셨다. 그리고 성서를 읽으시려고 일어서서 이사야 예언서의 두루마리를 받아 들고 이러한 말씀이 적혀 있는 대목을 펴서 읽으셨다. "주님의 성령이 나에게 내리셨다. 주께서 나에게 기름을 부으시어 가난한 이들에게 복음을 전하게 하셨다. 주께서 나를 보내시어 묶인 사람들에게는 해방을 알려주고 눈먼 사람들은 보게 하고, 억눌린 사람들에게는 자유를 주며 주님의 은총의 해를 선포하게 하셨다." 예수께서 두루마리를 말아서 시중들던 사람에게 되돌려주고 자리에 앉으시자 회당에 모였던 사람들의 눈이 모두 예수에게 쏠렸다. 예수께서는 "이 성서의 말씀이 오늘 너희가 들은 이 자리에서 이루어졌다." 하고 말씀하셨다. And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and a report concerning him went out through all the surrounding country. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and he went to the synagogue, as his custom was, on the sabbath day. And he stood up to read; and there was given to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened the book and found the place where it was written, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.

And he began to say to them, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."
