사랑의 이벤트(고전11:20-29 )

하지만 여러분이 한자리에 모여서 나누는 식사는 주님의 성찬을 나누는 것이라 할 수가 없습니다. 여러분은 모여서 음식을 먹을 때에 각각 자기가 가져온 것을 먼저 먹어치우고 따라서 굶주리는 사람이 생기는가 하면 술에 만취하는 사람도 생기니 말입니다. 각각 자기 집이 없어서 거기에서 먹고 마시는 겁니까? 그렇지 않으면 하느님의 교회를 멸시하고 가난한 사람들에게 창피를 주려고 그러는 것입니까? 내가 무엇이라고 말해야 하겠습니까? 이래도 여러분을 칭찬해야 하겠습니까? 이 일만은 칭찬할 수 없습니다. 내가 여러분에게 전해 준 것은 주님께로부터 받은 것입니다. 곧 주 예수께서 잡히시던 날 밤에 빵을 손에 드시고 감사의 기도를 드리신 다음, 빵을 떼시고 "이것은 너희들을 위하여 주는 내 몸이니 나를 기억하여 이 예를 행하여라." 하고 말씀하셨습니다. 또 식후에 잔을 드시고 감사의 기도를 드리신 다음, "이것은 내 피로 맺는 새로운 계약의 잔이니 마실 때마다 나를 기억하여 이 예를 행하여라." 하고 말씀하셨습니다.

그러므로 여러분은 이 빵을 먹고 이 잔을 마실 때마다 주님의 죽음을 선포하고, 이것을 주님께서 다시 오실 때까지 하십시오. 그러니 올바른 마음가짐 없이 그 빵을 먹거나 주님의 잔을 마시는 사람은 주님의 몸과 피를 모독하는 죄를 범하는 것입니다. 각 사람은 자신을 살피고 나서 그 빵을 먹고 그 잔을 마셔야 합니다. 주님의 몸이 의미하는 바를 깨닫지 못하고 먹고 마시는 사람은 그렇게 먹고 마심으로써 자기 자신을 단죄하는 것입니다.

When you meet together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat. For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal, and one is hungry and another is drunk. What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not. For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself.
