Job(1;20-22)

[20] Then Job arose, and rent his robe, and shaved his head, and fell upon the ground, and worshiped. [21] And he said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return; the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." [22] In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.

John9:1-7;39-41

[1]As he passed by, he saw a man blind from his birth. [2] And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" [3] Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be made manifest in him. [4] We must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day; night comes, when no one can work. [5] As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." [6] As he said this, he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle and anointed the man's eyes with the clay,

[7] saying to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Silo'am" (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.

John9:39-41

[39] Jesus said, "For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind." [40] Some of the Pharisees near him heard this, and they said to him, "Are we also blind?" [41] Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, `We see,' your guilt remains.

욥1:20-22

그제야 욥은 일어나 겉옷을 찢고 머리를 깎았다. 그리고는 땅에 엎드려 입을 열었다. "벌거벗고 세상에 태어난 몸, 알몸으로 돌아가리라. 야훼께서 주셨던 것, 야훼께서 도로 가져가시니 다만 야훼의 이름을 찬양할지라." 이렇게 욥은 이 모든 일을 당하여 죄를 짓지 않았고 하느님을 비난하지도 않았다.

요9:1-7

예수께서 길을 가시다가 태어나면서부터 눈먼 소경을 만나셨는데 제자들이 예수께 "선생님, 저 사람이 소경으로 태어난 것은 누구의 죄입니까? 자기 죄입니까? 그 부모의 죄입니까?" 하고 물었다. 예수께서는 이렇게 대답하셨다. "자기 죄 탓도 아니고 부모의 죄 탓도 아니다. 다만 저 사람에게서 하느님의 놀라운 일을 드러내기 위한 것이다. 우리는 해가 있는 동안에 나를 보내신 분의 일을 해야 한다. 이제 밤이 올 터인데 그 때는 아무도 일을 할 수가 없다. 내가 이 세상에 있는 동안은 내가 세상의 빛이다." 이 말씀을 하시고 예수께서는 땅에 침을 뱉어 흙을 개어서 소경의 눈에 바르신 다음, "실로암 연못으로 가서 씻어라." 하고 말씀하셨다. (실로암은 '파견된 자'라는 뜻이다.) 소경은 가서 얼굴을 씻고 눈이 밝아져서 돌아왔다.

요9:39-41

예수께서는 "내가 이 세상에 온 것은 보는 사람과 못 보는 사람을 가려, 못 보는 사람은 보게 하고 보는 사람은 눈멀게 하려는 것이다." 하고 말씀하셨다. 예수와 함께 있던 바리사이파 사람 몇이 이 말씀을 듣고 "그러면 우리들도 눈이 멀었단 말이오?" 하고 대들었다.

예수께서는 "너희가 차라리 눈먼 사람이라면 오히려 죄가 없을 것이다. 그러나 너희는 지금 눈이 잘 보인다고 하니 너희의 죄는 그대로 남아 있다." 하고 대답하셨다.
