Structure of the trip: May 18
Each trip has been unique and we are constantly making adjustments to make the trip safer and more productive. All the lumber and material will be delivered to the build site. So, the building process will be similar to our last several builds. Which means, plenty of patience as we sort and organize lumber and develop a game plan for the day. Each build site presents its own challenges.
1) We will be leaving on Saturday morning. This should allow everyone a good night's rest. Please be at your place of departure on time (4:30AM preferably) We will be meeting at the Otay Mesa border crossing at the McDonalds on the U.S. side. We need to be there by 7:30a.m.
2) We will be dividing the entire group into work "crews." This will allow for clearer communication and the assignment of tasks.
3) We will be finishing the house in the late afternoon/early evening and driving across the border together. From the border, people will be on their own for meals.
